Maxpedition Noatak Gearslinger

The Noatak pack, the smaller sibling of the #0431 SITKA GEARSLINGER, is a lightweight and versatile option designed to stay secure even when heavily loaded. It features multiple organizational pockets within its main and front compartments, making it easy to separate your gear and conveniently store your CCW. Additionally, the Noatak includes a zippered compartment for a 50oz/1.5L hydration reservoir and a side cinch pouch that fits a Maxpedition 32oz/1L wide-mouth Nalgene bottle.

Part of the Maxpedition Gearslinger lineup, the Noatak provides the ergonomic comfort of a backpack with the quick access of a sling bag. The pack is designed to be worn on your back with a strap that evenly distributes weight across your shoulders. When you need to access the contents, the Noatak rotates 270 degrees towards the front of your body. This feature is particularly useful when seated or walking through the field, as it saves time and effort by eliminating the need to remove the bag.

Built for comfort in extreme conditions, the Noatak features a padded back panel and shoulder strap made from #AS-100 high-grade closed-cell foam, offering superior shock protection for both you and your gear. The pack includes a spacious main compartment with multiple interior pockets, a zippered front pouch with an internal "Keyper" key retention system, and sleeve pockets. It also has a hydration-compatible rear compartment equipped with a loop to hold a firearm, and a side water bottle pocket. The exterior modular webbing allows for the attachment of additional pouches, while internal loop fields facilitate concealed carry.

Constructed from 1000-Denier water and abrasion-resistant ballistic nylon fabric, the Noatak is designed to withstand extreme conditions and hard use. The fabric is treated with Dupont Teflon for grime resistance and easy maintenance and is triple polyurethane coated for water resistance. YKK high-strength zippers and zipper tracks with silent Paracord zipper pulls, along with UTX-Duraflex nylon buckles, provide low-sound closures, making the pack ideal for hunting and stealth applications.

The Noatak is stitched with high tensile strength composite nylon thread, stronger than ordinary industry standard thread, and features double stitching, Bartacking, or "Box-and-X" stitching at stress points for added durability. The internal seams are taped and finished for additional weather resistance and durability. High tensile strength nylon webbing is used for reinforcement, attachment points, and straps to ensure the pack’s integrity.

For cleaning, MAXPEDITION’s nylon fabric is treated with Dupont Teflon for exceptional water and grime resistance. Simply wipe the pack down with a damp cloth and allow it to air dry. Do not machine wash or use detergent or bleach.

Dimensions for the Noatak are 10 inches (L) x 5.5 inches (W) x 14.5 inches (H). The main compartment measures 9.5 inches (L) x 4 inches (W) x 14 inches (H) with a volume of 500 cu. in. / 8L. The exterior front features a Y-compression strap made from 1-inch webbing, a 7-inch (L) x 2-inch (H) loop field for patches, and a 7.5-inch (L) x 7-inch (H) external horizontal zippered pocket with a Button-Lock security strap. Additionally, there is an 8-inch (L) x 7-inch (H) x 1.5-inch (W) zippered pouch, a 7-inch (L) x 5-inch (H) internal horizontal slip pocket, and a 9-inch (L) x 7-inch (H) internal horizontal slip pocket. The exterior left side includes an 8-inch (H) x 3-inch diameter cord cinch pouch with a drainage grommet for a 32oz/1L water bottle or radio. The main interior front features a zippered mesh pocket with a 4-inch (L) x 4.25-inch (H) external loop field for CCW and a 10.5-inch (L) x 7-inch (H) slip pocket. The main interior rear includes an 8-inch (L) x 7-inch (H) slip pocket and a 5.25-inch (L) x 7-inch (H) slip pocket.
